Kevin and Square Bean Coffee were recommended to us by a common connection - a business and marketing coach that Dave and I worked with as we started Limited Coffee!
We reached out to Kevin to learn more about his story and how he got into coffee. Kevin hails form South Africa and 20 years ago he actually had a coffee company! The bug stayed with him and after working for years in finance, he decided to follow his passion for coffee and start Square Bean Coffee!
He's keeping things lean as he starts out (very wise) and, as is the case for many in Kevin's shows, he's opted for a little 1KG Bullet to get going which he hones his craft.
That said, he's off to a cracking start. The samples Dave cupped were absolutely on point, too! Sadly, the co-ferment ran out but fear not, we've got a well-rounded, boozy, natural gesha!
