BOHEE COFFEE ROASTERS

BOHEE COFFEE ROASTERS

Bohee Coffee are an independent speciality coffee roaster, based at Trafford Park in Manchester, interestingly with a background in Tea! Chris, Owner and roaster has been crafting his tea business Bohea Teas since around 2015, before starting Bohee more recently and turning his hand to their Giesen W15, roasting some of the finest coffees you’ll have tasted.

Aninka from Bohee reached out to us back in February, with the offer of some samples and boy, am I glad we made this happen. Fast forward to samples arriving on my doorstep and what can I say, picking one from the bunch was incredibly tough. Of course, we landed on an extended fermentation Rwandan, but an honourable mention has to go to their washed process Mexican, also an extended fermentation, out of Huatusco, Veracruz. Both coffees are an absolute testament to what these folks are doing up in Manchester, and I think represent their brand perfectly.

But they don’t just care about the taste, whilst that’s obviously very important, they care about doing good too. Packaging through supply chain, they’re committed to minimising their environmental impact the same as they are to contributing positively to the speciality coffee community - consumers and producers alike.
